You might remember me from such things as the Commodores or my hit song “Dancing on the Ceiling.” Is this a good time to talk?DOG: Woof. Woof woof.LIONEL RICHIE: Great. Top Three Guilty Pleasures and Such of the Week

1) “Zou Bisou Bisou”

This past Sunday after about a year and a half hiatus, Mad Men returned for it’s fifth season. One of the most memorable scenes in the season premiere was when a surprise party thrown for Don (one of the main characters on the show) by his wife Megan. During the party, Megan seductively performs the 60s French pop song titled “Zou Bisou Bisou” for Don. It is easy for this catchy number to get stuck in your head. You may even find yourself randomly singing or humming it unknowingly, like or I may or may not have done.

2) Birthday Cake Oreos

When I found out that Birthday Cake Oreos existed, I knew I had to try them. I surprisingly enjoyed the Strawberry Milkshake and Triple Double Neapolitan ones so I thought why not. It took me a while to find them until I finally had luck during an impromptu grocery store visit with a friend. They tasted exactly how they would. Like birthday cake. Sadly, only 20 cookies come in the package (the regular package has about twice as many). They are also limited edition. I am hoping the Oreo people will reconsider so I can get my birthday cake fix, even when it is not my birthday.

3) “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion

About 2 months ago, I uploaded a bunch of old CDs from my childhood and teen years ( *NSYNC, Madonna, Various Soundtracks, etc.) on iTunes. One of them was a CD single of the love theme from “Titanic” titled “My Heart Will Go On”. It wasn’t until recently (this week) that I have played it an embarrassing number of times (at least 3!). It may or may not be a coincidence that a 3D version of “Titanic” is being released next Friday. I also discovered this week that this song is a favorite of Los Angeles Laker Metta World Peace who is a self proclaimed Celine Dion fan* and not a favorite at all to “Titanic” star Kate Winslet who has said the song “makes her feel like throwing up”.^

I had a cat that “talked”. Its “hello” was very clear, and best heard in the middle of the night, echoing in the dark hallway.
